Similarities
1. Forms of communication.
2. Both require you to sit down and write/type out your thoughts down.
3. There is a place where the message is being sent from and a place that is receiving it.
4. There are phases or stops the message needs to make before being sent out.
5. Both require an address.
6. Can talk to people across the country.
Differences
1. One is a form of electronic communication whereas the other is a physical form of communication.
2. The time it takes for a message to arrive at it's destination.
3. When e-mailing someone if you get their address wrong the message does not send while mailing someone with the incorrect address could lead to someone else receiving the message and not the recipient.
4. You can use cellphones to send e-mails, however, you can not use your cellphones to send regular mail.
